Stoke-on-Trent No.2 Group was formed in 1972 as a communications channel between
the County and our Branches which are the lifeline of the Legion and the
volunteers that run them work tirelessly to raise funds and provide welfare
support whilst offering a social focus for their members to meet.
The group now meets once a quarter at the London Road Sports & Social
Club, which until recent years had been the late Stoke-on-Trent branch
and club. Two years ago due to the change over from Legion to private
club at had met regularly at former Fenton Royal British Legion club.
We were all sad to leave as dedicated Fenton Branch meeting room held
memories and mementos for a lot of the Group members.
